End of the road...

Hey BAPPERS!!!

How are you all feeling after the presentations??

So it's all done, critical reviews submitted, presentations done, no more word count worry! I can't believe it, can you?

I have been meaning to blog for a while now but felt the need to get everything done first. Now we can all relax (for a bit anyway) I am going to reflect back on module 3 and will be posting 'reflection' blogs on my inquiry, presentation and artefact in the near future. After module one I have really embraced the whole 'reflecting' thing.

I would love for the rest of you to blog too?! I know we were desperate to read past BAPPERS' blogs on their experiences and work throughout the course, so maybe we could be of help to future BAPPERS?! Also, I saw many of you at campus sessions and it would be great to see your finished work. How you came to do your inquiry? Maybe you could post links to your artefact and/or presentations of you haven't already? (I'll be posting mine once I've improved it a bit more)

I really like watching my peers do their presentations and learn from their individual lines of inquiry. It was great to see their work and overall results.

Chiara Vainella

British, Female, London, 19 years of age, Brunette, 5foot 9inches.
I trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts since the age of 11. I have recently graduated gaining my Trinity Diploma in Performing Arts. I enjoy dancing, acting, singing, choreographing, teaching, socialising with friends and networking via the internet, baking/cooking, going to the theatre & cinema and spending time with family.
I have just started the BAPP course at Middlesex Theatre and am currently working on Module 1. I am already learning new social networking techniques and look forward to completing the course and gaining a degree. I would love to teach in the future and I believe that doing this BAPP course will help me do so.
I have previously performed in multiple shows as a company member and featured dancer with the Italia Conti Academy. Some of which include performing at the Savoy Theatre, Wimbledon Theatre, Shaw Theatre, Avondale Theatre and most recently at the Bloomsbury theatre. I have also danced at The Royal Albert Hall for two Raymond Gubbay Productions. I was a dancer in Classical Spectacular in March 2012 and I also danced as a 'Belle' in Jingle Belle Christmas. Both were such amazing experiences and it was such a breathtaking feeling to perform infront of over 8000 people each night. Television work includes - BBC1, tap dancing on The One Show and a featured student on the CBBC School For Stars series 1 & 2. I recorded part of the Mamma Mia film Soundtrack at Air Studios London. Aside from professional work; I have been teaching at the Italia Conti Barbican associates for over 3 years and love it immensely. I enjoy the fun and energy that my pupils give off and it feels so good to see progress in their talents over the weeks. I have assisted ballet, taught jazz, modern and musical theatre. Currently I'm with the singing teacher, choreographing for the MT classes, I teach a Mini Movers Toddlers class, also Adult Fitness.
